***1. NEXT LACPUG MEETING

lacpug Meets are once again sponsored by Blackmagic Design for all of 2015
and we are grateful.

Lucky enough to live in LA? Well then the next lacpug Meet is only two days away,
Wednesday January 27, 2016 once again at the Gallery Theatre in Hollywood Ca. Then
it’s every fourth Wednesday of the month after that. Just like the last 15 years.

What’s on the agenda? We are excited to welcome award winning film editor Billy Fox to lacpug. Billy will talk about his work on the critically acclaimed film STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON. There will be plenty of time for questions.

Plus, from the Fairfax Visual Arts program, sophomore Hallie Ross will show and tell all
about the video she created based on the Greek story "Pyramus and Thisbe."

Plus, Eddie Award wining film editor, Kevin Klauber returns after a long absence to talk
about the 2016 Oscar Nominated documentary "WINTER ON FIRE" which tells the story of the recent unrest in Ukraine during 2013 and 2014. Register now!

NOTE: lacpug generally meets every 4th Wednesday of the Month.
Meetings are open to public and ALL, beginning through advanced
Digital Story Tellers are welcome.

Digital projection made possible through the generous sponsorship of Adobe Systems,
DVCreators, DigitalFilm Tree and members like you.
With additional support from AJA, ProMax Systems and Gefen Inc.

lacpug meetings are presented in association with the
Barnsdall Gallery Theater, a facility of the City of Los Angeles
Department of Cultural Affairs.
