The CGM Transitions and Filters function in a totally native manner because they have been written in FCP`s native language. This means they fully support YUV rendering as well as AltiVec and multiprocessing. Furthermore, they are written to support rendering at the subpixel level. This ensures smooth movement within the rendered clip. Finally, the 2D and 3D transitions are actually transitions in an FCP sense rather than After Effects filters that may require cutting and pasting in order to function as a transition. And AE filters will not render in YUV space, often causing luminance shifts in the final rendered product. NEW: All plugins support progressive video (25p, 24p, 30p)
Most notable of these filters are the "Filmlook", "Light/Glow", "Selective Color Correction", "Explode 3D", "Spin 3D", "Zoom/Rotate 3D" and "Wind Blur" effects.
