This is because DVDxDV supports all of the video formats available to your MacIntosh computer through Quicktime. Since Quicktime supports a wide range of video formats, the video on your DVD can transformed into many different types of video. It can be converted to a high quality DV format and recorded to your miniDV camcorder. On the other hand, the video clip could be made extremely small using MPEG4 and sent via email or put on your homepage.
