Agenda
6:45- 7:15PM - Stump the Gurus
Join FCP Gurus Christine
Steele, Larry Jordan,
and special guest Guru, K.D. Gulko and Steve
McCracken as they will attempt to answer all of your questions
and solve all of your problems concerning FCP. If they can't
solve your problem or answer your How 2, then you go home with
a problem but you still got out of the house, so that's not a
bad thing.

- 7:45PM - "PictureReady!" - Keith Hatounian
PictureReady!
is the latest revoution from Gallery,
offering the ability to record picture into a QuickTime movie,
but with that Movie available immediately for editing as soon
as recording BEGINS. Additional picture becomes available to
editors in the background automatically as the recording progresses.
Really! Apple's Keith Hatounian will show us. Keith will

Matrox
MXO is a handy external box

converts it to broadcast-quality video. You can preview your Apple
Final Cut Pro projects or the output of other QuickTime-based
applications such as Apple Soundtrack Pro and Motion, as well
as Adobe After Effects as they will actually appear on TV and
record them frame accurately to tape - no drop frames, no repeat
frames. You can also use Matrox MXO to provide flicker-free recording
of Keynote and PowerPoint presentations, web browser sessions,
and software application training. Pino Barile will demo.
8:15PM
- 8:40PM - Red Digital Cinema Camera - Ted Schilowitz
"The idea behind the RED
camera system is simple. To design and build a high performance
digital cine camera with the quality of 35mm film and convenience
of a camcorder. RED delivers unmatched image quality with no
recording system limitations. Introducing the RED ONE camera,
the world's first large format digital camera with integrated
recording. Ultra High Definition in the palm of your hand."

- 9:55PM -Tascam FW-1082 - Jeff Laity
"Jeff Laity from
Tascam
will be showing the FW-1082
Video/Audio Controller and Interface acting as a front-end
for Final Cut Studio. Its transport, shuttle wheel and motorized
faders work seamlessly with Final Cut Pro, and the touch-sensitive
faders can write keyframes on the fly. The MIDI controller mode
is ideal for Motion, allowing control of effects synced to music
or real-time color correction. It also acts as an audio interface
and digital mixer, replacing several pieces on your desktop at
once. TASCAM will be giving away an FW-1082 to one lucky winner
at the meeting."
