If they can't solve your problem or answer your How 2, then you go home with a problem but you still got out of the house, so that's not a bad thing. 7:20PM - 7:45PM - Huge Systems - Alan Novitz Huge Systems, will show off thieir very cool storage solutions that integrates quite nicely with Apple's Xsan 7:50PM - 8:15PM - "Kinemac," -3D Real Time Animation & Presentation Software for Mac OS X - Philip Hodgetts This is software that you have to see to believe. Real time 3D. Yes, REAL TIME! Kinemac is still in Beta and you will be among the first in the world to see it in action. Philip Hodgetts will demo 8:15PM - 8:25PM - "Keta Rap" - Randall Weatherington - Show and Tell "Keta Rap" is the third in a series of gag videos that my wife and I have done for a friend. Keta is her Mom's Senegal Parrot who just happens to be a little bit off the wall, and reports on the exploits of her owner. In this installment of "The Keta Report," after Mom has been to a singing audition, Keta sings a rap song that a parrot might sing if auditioning for a new owner in a pet store. This is the first "Keta Report" that stands on its own without having to explain an inside joke, and it is also the first that is all original, including music. Special effects, including blue screen are also incorporated into this video. The out takes at the end show some of the raw footage before processing, and are in themselves, hilarious! 8:25PM - 8:40PM - Two Music Videos - Kenn Michael lafcpug favorite Kenn Michael is back with two new music videos shot on the Panasonic Varicam and edited and color corrected on his Powerbook and iMac. 8:40PM - 9:00PM - Break This is a chance to hang out and meet and greet and get your problems solved. Ripple Training will be in the lobby showing off and selling all their must have training DVDs. Intelligent Assistance will be in Lobby selling their latest creations, and talking about the new Pro Apps Hub. Snacks and Beer and Wine will be on sale in the lobby. Proceeds go to the Gallery Theater. 9:00PM - 9:50PM -Understanding the P2 workflow with the Panasonic AG-HVX200 DVCPRO HD Camcorder. Quite possibly the most anticipated camcorder in years, the Panasonic AG-HVX200 DVCPRO HD is set to ship December 2005. One of the most talked about (and confusing) features on the camcorder is the use of the "P2" card, and Panasonic will be on hand to discuss and tell you everything you need to know about the workflow AND the camera before you buy. Important Note: As of this writing a mock up only of the HVX200 will be at this demo. Panasonic will use the SPX800 camcorder with P2 on board to aid in the explanation of P2 workflow. ProMax will also show P2 workflow, by importing media off a USB P2 reader into Final Cut Pro.
