and "The Legend of Lucy Keyes" - David Bigelow
In the fall of 2004, Moody
Street Pictures shot the feature film "The Legend of
Lucy Keyes" over 20 days in the woods surrounding Wachusset
Mountain in Princeton, MA. Starring Julie Delpy ("BEFORE
SUNSET") and Justin Theroux ("SIX FEET UNDER"),
the film was shot entirely with the Panasonic Varicam in 720P
HD. For editing, the producers chose to use Final Cut Pro HD.
Using the AJ-1200A HD deck, the film is currently being edited
in it's native HD format on a laptop Powerbook G4 from a LaCie
Big Disk Extreme 500 GB firewire hard drive. Post Production
Supervisor David Bigelow will discuss the entire post
production process that is truly a revolutionary new method in
Digital Filmmaking. Trailer: http://homepage.mac.com/dbigelow/lktrailer
7:45PM - 8:00PM - FCP, AJA and the
Super Bowl - Ted Schilowitz
If any of you out there watched
the World Series and the Superbowl this year, you watched a lot
of Final Cut Pro HD in action at the highest and most demanding
levels. No second chances here - so when Fox wanted
to experiment with cost effective non-linear editing systems
in the broadcast trucks for pre-game and in game use, they went
to AJA video and their brand new Kona2 card. Ted Schilowitz,
Worldwide product manager for the Mac gear from AJA (also known
as "the iTed") was on site for the pressure cooker
of the Superbowl, and will show off some behind the scenes HDV
footage and still pix of the systems in action, and tell some
fun stories of how it was done.

your problems solved from the FCP Guru Table, talk to vendors,

Look over to the left. Those
are some good raffle prizes, and you may be going home with one
of them.
