***2. WHAT’S NEW ON THE WEB SITE?

Taped live at the June 2017 lacpug Meet -

SpeedScriber by Digital Heaven - Misha Tenenbaum

SpeedScriber, from Digital-Heaven, uses industry-leading automatic
speech recognition technology to analyze audio/video files and create
frighteningly accurate transcripts in real-time or faster. Transcripts are
automatically broken up by speaker and time stamped at regular
intervals, and can be edited and used in the app, or printed, exported
to PDF, or sent to Avid, Final Cut Pro X or Premiere Pro, where they
gain added functionality. Editor and EditStock founder, Misha Tenenbaum demoed this amazing new tool and showed how it can be used with
your favorite NLE to streamline the editing process for both non-fiction
and scripted projects.
