For HD Log & Capture, what should be my Sequence Settings?

Hi Guys,
If I'm capturing HD footage in FCP5, what should my settings be set to under "Sequence Setting" in General Tab for the timeline? In General Tab, what should be the Frame Size, Aspect Ratio, Pixel Aspect Ratio, Field Dominance, & Editing TimeBase?
Also, in the same General tab, under Quicktime Video Settings, which Compressor preset should I choose?
Should all the changes be done before or after capturing?
Thanks in advance,

Zia

That all depends on the HD format you are using.

Definitely before capturing. You need to plan out the entire post-production process before you proceed. Are you doing an online or offline edit? What's the destination format -- DVD, tape, movie file, film? How much storage and processing power do you have?

And Sequence Presets isn't the one you gotta worry about now. That only affects the default settings of sequences (timelines). It's Capture Presets and Device Control Presets you have to verify.
