edl to avid

i need to export an edl for use on an avid, having never done this before, is there anything that i need to look out for?

Make sure there are only cuts and dissolves in the sequence. And special plugins and filters you use will not transfer. Use the CMX3600 format. And if you don't get good results, look into Automatic Duck...spendy, but does flawless transfers between these two NLEs
