When logging certain shots I am told I have an "INVALID EDIT"and I cannot get the shot on the timeline, though when used in the past no problem,my own thoughts it could be camera trouble,anybody with any other solutions.

Logging? Are you referring to subclipping? Because it doesn't sound like you're logging at all. It sounds like you're editing.

External devices very, very rarely affect timeline performance, so I seriously doubt your camera has anything to do with it. Once a clip has already been captured, the camera that shot the footage is also practically a non-issue unless you're talking about timecode. What exactly were you trying to do?
