FCP 3 QUESTION.

I have captured all my media on my main drive and edited my movie, which is about 1h 30min. Recently all my media have disappeared from the capture scratch and all my clips are offline and they cannot be opened. i searched all over but i cannot fine them. I don't know if i trashed them, which i don't think so. Please, i need help to find my media and take clips offline. I have FCP 3, G 4, ROM 512, SPEED 1.250 GHZ, HARD DRIVE 250 .

Recapture from the source tapes. If the media is gone, it is gone. And the only way to POSSIBLY recover it is to send the drive to an expensive data recovery service. But it isn't worth it.

Just recapture.

If that's the system drive, it's a big no-no. If you're already done a system search for your clip names or any folder called "Capture Scratch" and you haven't found your media, then it's probably gone. Did you make a movie file of the edit recently?
