Audio soft.

Hey,
Anyone know of any "good-but-cheap" audio mixing soft. that would let me make my own music by recording the instruments(bass, keyboard, guitar) on different tracks into my mac(g4, dual 867, 512, 100HD, fcp3).

Sorry if this is not the right phorum for this, but I have heard of your vast experience.

Garageband 2. I think it's up to eight tracks at a time now. Check it out at [www.apple.com]

It's part of the ilife package, so for less than a hundred bucks you'll get a stack of great software, including this one.

Try Audacity; it may have all that you need to get you started. It's free.
