I have been told that the best way to capture is by using "Capture Now", I have also heard otherwise. What is the best known way to capture Video? Using What technique?

Also when I capture using "Capture Now" at the end of the work day when I go to close out it asks me if I want to save my already captured material, any reasons why it does this?

capture now is great for quickie one-off stuff. but its far better to log the clips then batch the whole tape.
The best way to capture video is to hide quietly by a water hole and wait till it comes to drink. Stay upwind ( a difficult task for many editors) and jump out on the video from behind. Grab it just behind the gill flaps and keep clear of the clawed hind feet. As quickly as you can, stuff it into a bag and you're all set.

I preffer logging to cap now.

Ian,

Maybe its just the long days and even longer nights of no sleep, but...that has got to be one of the funniest pieces I've read in a long time. ROTFLOL. OK so maybe I am sleep deprived.
