save a few more dollars, and get the G-Raid - as big as you can get! Been using the nearly 1 terabyte G-raid for a while - it's terrific - can capture uncompressed and edit it with a lot of zip - or store acres of DV....the G-Tech drive is simply a very nice looking Firewire drive...the G-Raid is an actual Raid...if you don't need uncompressed or acres of storage - get a good solid reliable Firewire drive...not sure of the G-tech price, but the otherworldcomputing drives are fast, well priced and very reliable.
