Interlacing issues

I have shot footage on DV Cam and I am now importing it into my suite and I get these exagerated Interlacing lines as soon as there is some movement in the footage.

It looks wrong and I dont really want to de-intelace the footage.
ANy ideas on how to fix/what Im doing wrong?

There's probably nothing wrong. Computer monitors are not interlaced, video monitors are. When you view the edit back through your camera and to your video monitor it should look great again.
