FCP Batch Capture with a VTR ????

I am using Canon XL-1s / XL-2 s. I have become accustomed to FCP's batch capture feature in my work flow.

Is there a DV / VTR out there which will also allow me to batch capture as I do from the cameras?

Will the Panasonic AG-DV2500 or Sony DSR-11 allow full function batch capture control thru FCP? Any other deck ?

Those 2 decks will work just fine. Any deck with Firewire and is included on the "supported" list at Apple will work.
