Final Cut Pro (No) Help (?)

Am I doing something wrong or is Help in FCP completely worthless?

Help in FCP is *almost* worthless.

I've long ago come to the conclusion that this type of thing requires the human touch -- human teachers, consultants, advisors. That's why I surf here all the time, to learn real tricks from real people, tried and true.

We could try to guess at what you're doing wrong. I suspect you're using Reader, but it may be something else.

While I agree with you Derek, the FCP manual is really quite good these days and has been getting better, especially since FCP 4. The fact that it is instantly searchable in PDF format is exceedingly helpful. It looks as though the FCP 5 manual has gone through a major upgrade.
