I have forgotten how to do something - if it is even doable.

I have a 1x1 inch graphic that of course can't be blown up to 720x480.

So how in PS 7 do I import (repeat) that 1x1 inch graphic 80 times to build a 10x8 inch document without getting Carpal?

here's a dodgy workaround:
set the picture as your desktop image, and have it set to tile.
then clear everything off your desktop and take an image of it. (Shift Apple 3)

(or contact the people who suplied the graphic, and try to get a bigger one?)

In PS, using layers, dupe and move multiple copies of the image to make one single row of images. Then merge these layers to form one layer with a row of 1x1s on it. Now dupe this layer as many times as you want and shift each to make a 10x8 box.

Nick's idea is a lot quicker.

I figured it out!

Copy Image in question to clipboard...

In PS, Filter > Pattern maker > Generate from Clipboard.

that's a funky thing, that pattern maker...

i cant get tiles, but it's doing *something* interesting enough.

if it was a logo i wanted to recognise, though it wouldnt be much good to me.

did you get a simple tile?

True... you wouldn't want to use a graphic that had specific detail in it that would look bizarre repeated.

I used a 1x1 inch texture pattern.
