24p out to HD1200a question

I'm onlining an HD feature shot on Varicam 24p at 720. I'll need to go back out to the HD1200a deck at 24p, and I have some questions...

- Can I go back out through FireWire? Or do I need to go HD SDI?

- Do I need to change anysettings on the deck itself to make sure it records 24p?

- Is there anything else I need to lookout for?
