P2 with FCP 4.5

Anybody using Panasonic's P2 cards from the AG-HVX200 with Final Cut Pro 4.5?? My Apple reseller tells me that it won't work unless I upgrade to Tiger and FCP 5 (which I don't want to do 60 days from NAB). I can't get 4.5 to recognize the files. Suggestions please...

Listen to your dealer. Your config won't work. P2 is a FCP 5 feature.
