Simple question that I should know the answer to: how do I export audio from FCP so that it plays in a CD player?? File>Export>QT Conversion.... >what? Thanks, Chris R.

Use File > Export > Audio to aiffs. Then use iTunes to burn your cd.

Toast Titanium does a great job burning CDs as well. There's just one catch: CD players, like DVD players, are multifarious and CDs burned from computers sometimes just don't play on some of them, no matter how good a job you do or how good the burning application. When I make mix CDs to listen to in my car, I have to put the computer-compiled CDs through a Sony dual-well CD dubber, using those special Music CDs designed for audio only, in order to make it work. CDs directly from my iTunes or Toast Titanium don't work in my car.

I wrote a little tutorial on getting music from FCP to a playable CD using iTunes: [www.lafcpug.org].

Hmmm. It works for me. There's a nice paradox here - you're notifying me that the server is down by using the same LAFCPUG server. Try again?
