Quality Design

Hi All
Just got a New G5 yesterday--I have not set it up yet
but I have read the manuails and opened the it up
and took a good look around inside--

I am Very impressed on the very clean and
well thought out interior design--

Apple has definatily raised the bar .--Jay--

Make sure you wipe the drive and do a reformat with disk Utility using the OS install CD. Keeps a lot of problems from happening.

and i'd suggest that you do a custom install and deselect the extra fonts for other languages and the mutiple language installs.

why waste drive space on stuff you probably wont use?

Foreign fonts and symbols are really cool. I wouldn't say don't install them, that way you can't get at 'em in the Character Palette for your motion graphics designs.
