exporting in mpeg2

i'm trying to export a compressed mpeg2 version of a project(i was told doing in mpeg 2 would get me rid of this strange flickering effect i get). while exporting i don't see any mpeg 2 option in the choice of the format, is it just quicktime then?

Do you have DVD Studio Pro? If you do, re-install it and mpeg2 option should show up. Otherwise you got to buy it for $20.00 at the Apple Store. Might be another work around but I don't know what it is

will idvd enabe me to compress my project though?

iDVD wont handle import of mpeg2. It can create mpeg2 VOBs though
