Academy Leader

Does anybody know where to locate Final Cut's Academy Leader (the count down/audible pop placed at the head of picture) media? The only way I know how to access it is to use "print to tape". I want to use it on a Final Cut Movie, so I'd need it as a piece of media I can place in the timeline.

Just print it to tape and re-capture it from tape. Or create your own. The only thing that really matters is the 2-pop.

Academy Leader is the one that comes out even in frames and not seconds. Nobody uses that any more.

SMPTE Clock Leader displays in even seconds with a sweep second hand and is the one used for two-pop.

Poke around on your install disks. Apple has kindly included a number of leaders in various frame rates as Quicktime movies.

They're on the install disk in the extras folder.
