Disk Permissions

Is there any need to ReBoot the system after repairing permissions?

The System goes out and looks at permissions every time it tries to do anything, so unless the system demanded restarting, you can probalby leave it alone.

We, being paranoid engineers, restart the machine any time we do any system repair work or upgrade.
