Tiger up-grade problem

Well I up-graded to Tiger on a dual G-4, 2 gig of ram FCP4.5. I installed Tiger and FCPHD, then the FCP up-grade, now when capturing I can control the deck but the capture window stays blank. As far as I can tell from research it's a quick time problem, but I can't pin down how to fix it, other than buy a new machine, ha ha. Thank you guys for any advice.

I did not un-install the older version of FCP, which now has a little question mark over the icon.
