Capturing 24 footage

I recently had someone shoot some footage on xl2 and they used 24 frames mode. how do i convert it to 30 frames? is that done in the sequence settings or during the actual capturing? it was also 16:9 mode, does that need to be captured in dv ntsc(3:2) or dv ntsc(4:3) and with anamorphic checked? I am a little confused about this and any help would be great.

I'm pretty sure the XL2 handles 24p the same way a DVX100 does. That means you capture your footage with DV-NTSC anamorphic settings and you get 29.97fpsi. If you want to edit in 24p you can remove the pulldown of the clip.
