linking audio

hi, I have a problem in working with audio in FC STUDIOHD.
I have my storage captured with two separate mono channels and I can link them with the video in order to move, delete etc them but I can find the way to work on then simoultaneusly....for example changing level, pan or adding keyframe once for both.
Is there any way to do that? Could someone tell me how?

Select them both and click option L to make them a stereo pair.

how does it work the extend command? If I want to extend a clip how do I use the extend button on the keyboard?

Just grab the end of the clip in the timeline with your arrow tool and pull to the right. This wil extend your clip. Or, double click it to load it back into the viewer and set new in or out points. Or you can double click on the edit point to enter trim mode and go from there. Try the grab and drag method - it's nice and flexible.
