When i enable the transparency option to export a very simple graphic the whole comp turns black.
The comp is a pre comp of a phtotoshop image , precomped and has a 3d filter on it. it runs fine and exports ok if i dont click the preserve transparency on. if its on, then the whole comp turns black and will export only black!!
i need to super impose this image on a video in premiere.

this probelem occurs just as as soon as i add the basic 3d filter!!
any help would be appreciated

I realize you're puzzled but your post is cryptic. If this doesn't help, and it probably won't, try reposting using a more careful explanation.

I don't have any trouble exporting from AE with an alpha channel. Where are you "enabling the transparency option?" In the timeline or in the export settings?

Are you using a 3d filter or enabling 3d space? Depending on your prefs or timeline settings for your comp, you may need to add a light in order to see anything in 3d.

1. ...need more info. What is the "3D filter"? What codec are you using? What are your render settings? Your post is too vague...we would be guessing.

2. This is a well known / respected FCP forum. Premiere forum is here:
