Help with audio sweetening?

I'm trying to 'sweeten' my audio tracks now but unfortunately know very little about the process.

Does anyone have any sites/tips/pdfs that may shed some light on this delicate art of sound editing/sweetening?

Thanks!

This is something that really cannot be learned thru books and sites. This is a hands and "ears" on only experience really. You need to take classes on this.

And if you are in a hurry to get this out the door, then you need to hire and audio mixer to finish it. Do not mess with audio if you don't know what you are doing. Bad audio for a film is far worse than bad picture.

Try the "Inside Soundtrack Pro" training DVD from digitalmediatraining.com, also available with 15% off here in the LAFCPUG store. Will get you up and going quickly...

Douglas Spotted Eagle has a dvd for audio that I found very helpful. You can find him over in the "Now Hear This" section at DVinfo.net.

I like the magazine that called Electronic Musician. They have a lot of tutorials on their web site.

And, I love this book too. You could leart more on it.
