Log & capture

Hi Guys
merry Christmas to all. i recently up grad to 5.4 since than for some reason i can't log and capture any more. i have a new DSR 11. the capture window appear and show the VTR OK and connected, but the play bottom is freeze and it wont play. i even trash pref. and restart it didn;t change anything. capture preset it shows input DSR-11..any idea what should i do?

hi Ken thank you for respond. i did what exactly you told me to do. still log and capture dose not function. as i said in previous post that everything seem connected but the play bottom doesn't play for capturing..any idea..

You might want to trash your FCP prefs.

i did trash in my fcp prefs, still nothing.

Try using the 'JKL' keys to see if the deck responds.

You do have the deck set to DV, correct?
