OT - anyone used nucleo for AE yet?

there is a new plugin for after effects called nucleo. supposed to really capitalize on multi-proc and dual core machines (reported 30 to 50% reduction in render times).

just wondered if anyone here has tried it yet?

at $150 if it works at all, sounds like a God send...

after installing the nucelo demo in my dual 2.0 g5 (single core) my render times are actually THREE TIMES LONGER than they were rendering straight out of AE...

have sent email to the manufacturer asking whats up - stay tuned...

after several tests on several different kinds of files, we came to the conclusion that its likely based on some flakiness within AE 6.5.x.

will test again when version 7 is released and see what that does...
