emailing large files

emailing large files

I need to send a 300 gig file to someone. Can anyone please recommend a free service that does this? I know that there are third party places that I can send the file to, and the recipient can log on and download.

Any ideas or recommendations?

Many thanks,

Harry

300 GIGS?! No one will do that. Maybe you mean 300MBS

www.yousendit.com will send up to 1 gig

If it is 300G, the only way to ship it would be FedEx and a FireWire drive. Even if you posted it on an FTP site, it would take weeks to move it up and weeks to move it back down again.

300 megs is easy. most ftp sites will accept that, so will a .mac account.
zip it or stuff it and post it up.

Great new software out there called Pando.
FREE
Windoze and Mac.
MUCH FASTER than Ichat or ftp'ing it.
I have sent and received up to 200 megs so far.
Very simple to use and set up.
