CONTROL-click on one of the columns in the Browser and choose "Show Thumbnail". This slows down the scrolling in the Browser to a crawl, though. Don't use if you don't have lots of system resources left.

Or, right-click (or CTRL+click if you use a 1 button mouse) in the Name section of the Browser and choose on of the "View as xxx icon"s. You won't get any of the other data, but you get a big bin you can rearrange things in.

deb's right. Derek, you can't arrange thumbnails - you can arrange icons. Two different things there. Thumbnails are only available in list view.

Shift + H toggles the view.

Keep in mind that on the project level you want to stay in list view.

Only change icon views in clips bins. To open a bin in its own tab, Option + double click.
