I have a 1.25 dual G4 running FCP HD and have 1.5 Ghz of ram. Not counting the main drive, I also have 3 internal 250GB drives (7200/133) for storage.
My system runs great but I haven't yet had a chance to run an HD project through it. However, I did recently complete a DVCPro50 feature with no problems.
My next project is a shot on HD feature and I'm trying to determine the best workflow for my machine. Bring it in as HD and cut in HD? ... or go low rez first, cut the movie, and then re-assemble the movie in HD after the edit?
