OT: Best web video I've seen in weeksPosted by Anonymous User
The video is funnier than a joint ? and potentially a lot more illegal!
Not wanting to spoil the party but those poor fellows are heading for troubles. Distributing a well-known pop ?song on the web while mocking the band members is not very clever. How would you feel if someone would distribute your material on the web and disgrace your carefully coordinated dance choreography? You would like to sue them, right? I guess it is going to happen for these kids as well? Sorry guys. But we had good laughs while it lasted.
They're two architectural students from China.
Good luck suing them. Maybe the Backstreet Boys can sue them for their parent's old Mao Red Books! Or a copy of Final Cut Studio for a street value of $49.95 RMB. This video is about 6 months old and they have a few other videos out since then. This is the web and globalization at work! Power to the people!
Yeah, it's sick! Fabulous detail. The only thing botherng me is, still too much gravity-- everybody knows cartoon gravity is only half of Earth's-- and Marge's hair isn't right.
It would be a riot if it showed up to replace an episode open one week. - Loren Today's FCP 5 keytip: Set a Level keyframe with Command-Option K ! The FCP 5 KeyGuide?: a professional placemat. Now available at KeyGuide Central: www.neotrondesign.com
Mike,
That was the funniest GD thing I've seen in a looooong time...absolute SCREAM (I think I coughed up a lung). The guy in the background that doesn't move is HYSTERICAL. Tell me all of you haven't done that kind of animated lip-syncing when nobody's home or in your car. I do it all the time (to old Boston tunes - lol - and it's FUN). I used to do it all the time with my little brother to old Jackson 5 tunes and we pi$$ed ourselves laughing when we video taped ourselves for the first time later on. You won't see those on the web - sorry nicknasty, Lighten up, dude. This is nothin' but F-U-N and nobody's getting sued. If anything, these guys will sell more records for the Backstreet Boys. Thanx for the GREAT laugh, Mike... classic - Joey Post Edited (03-08-06 21:30) When life gives you dilemmas...make dilemmanade.
Apparently we are all out of touch with Pop Culture. Well maybe Chi is still hanging in there but according to my daughter these guys have been around for awhile and are big time celebrities and have been interviewed on VH1 and this back street boys craze wasn't started by them. They just did the coolest one. They have been hired by Motorola China to do commercials for their cell phones.
Here is some info on them [www.tian.cc] Damn I love that.
