media reconnect errors

hi, i had been having some errors before when reconnecting media between projects/computers where i would get to the end of my files to reconnect and there would be a blank name in quotes, which obviously i could never find. this was never an issue, as everything else reconnected just fine. this was not the same with my last file, as i tried to reconnect a single sequence and every single file returned was a blank name. any idea how this could happen/be fixed?

Do you have any non alpha-numeric characters in the names of your clips like a backslash or a question mark? These things can upset Unix and make it look for files in the wrong places.

i do, but wouldn't that only be an issue for those particular files?
