I'm working on a project that is being edited in two places simultaneously - at home on a G5 with DV media, and travelling on my laptop with Recompressed OfflineRT media on a pocketdrive.
Going back and forth has worked pretty well in general. But there are a couple issues I'm hoping to resolve:
The piece uses a lot of scanned still as TIF files. The moves on the stills that I built at home in DV mode are blown up too big on the laptop in OfflineRT mode. Is there a way to Recompress or otherwise modify the TIF files so they are the right size in an OfflineRT sequence?
When text appears over a picture in Offline RT mode, there is a video level shift in the picture. This does not appear in DV mode. What causes this?
Hope this is clear. Thanks for any suggestions.
