capturing footage shot with SONY HZ1, with a panasonic 100a?

Can I digitize footage shot hd with a sony HZ1 with a panasonic 100A camera? (the roughly $3000 panasonic, I cant remember the #--DVX?)
camille, you can post this question as many times and in as many ways as you want but the simple fact is you can ONLY capture HDV footage shot on a Z1 camera with a Z1 camera (or sonys HDV deck). PERIOD.

you MIGHT be able to capture it with sonys other HDV cameras but thats pretty much the end of your options.

Yeah, Camille, don't be fooled by the tape looking the same as other tapes. The content is completely different.

It's like asking, will this horse run faster if I put a Ford engine in it? No? What about a Mercedes engine? It's a horse. It uses hay.

You need to find a Sony HDV camera - preferably a Z1. Also, there are probably post houses out there that can do the conversion for you.
