FCP3 on G5?

Hi, and thanks for visiting my posting. I just bought a G5 yesterday, and I need to finish up a few projects in FCP3 before I upgrade to FCP5 (it's never good to switch horses mid-stream!). I'd like to load my legally owned and registered FCP-3 onto my G5 for now... however, when attempting to load it, I get a message that my CD is not legit., which is absolutely is. Am I attempting something impossible? Thanks! Scott

If you purchased one of the new PCI Express G5's, then NO, FCP 3-4 or FCP HD will not run on it since they need an AGP video card. FCP 5 is the only version that runs on the dual-core G5's , out of the box. Stay the course!
