Sony DSR 40 deck error message: C:32

Hi.
I have a Sony DSR 40 deck and I can't put a DV tape in. The message reads:
error message: C:32
Any ideas what this means?

Sorry, it sent without me!!!

Unplud the deck for 60 seconds, not turn off, but unplug. Plug back in and see what happens.

Hi there - I occasionally get C:32 errors on my wee Sony miniDV deck.

It means "I've got really messed up in my head and think something horrible has happened ...but it probably hasn't so just eject the tape, turn me off, and turn me on again and I will return to normal".

At least that's always worked for me.
