Does anyone know of a good software program for translating English to German,French and Portuegese? I have to provide subtitles in these three languages and have done some searching, but I am just not sure which or if any of the software that is available is solid and produces good results.
Any help would be great!
Thanks

anytime ive needed this kind of thing in the past, ive sent files out to a translation service. you cant trust software to do language conversion. simply isnt possible with todays technology.

Jobs like this require the human touch. Just think: The Chinese translation for "Coca-Cola" is "Yummy Can Be Happy" (Ke Hou Ke Le). In French, if you use "to kiss" as a verb, you're actually saying "to f**k" (baiser). You have to say "give a kiss" (donner un baiser) if you want to say "to kiss".

Ditto. You need a real person who is experienced in translation.

Thank you all! It could have been a disaster! I think I found a service that will handle the job and is reasonably priced.
