Canon XLH1 Camera

Has anyone actually shot with the Canon XLH1 HD camera? I'm looking for some advise & comparisons to shooting on this camera vs. a Beta Cam.
It looks similar to the Sony HDV Camera.
How many menus & sub-menus are there/is there anything funny about the camera? (Like the Sony camera has a hold button, and if your not on that then the white balance constantly fluctuates).

FCP 5.1 supports the XLH1 You can gets lots of info on this camera over at ripple training. They have a multi part part video pod cast on it.

So, those of us who own Studio 5.0 can not get 5.1 without spending $49.00?
What do I need dual binaries for? I own a G5?

Is there some improvement in 5.1??? I read that chances are there will be an FCP 6 announcement at NAB. Maybe?
