cloning & Tracking device in FCP

Would it not be great if FCP 5 ot whatever had a cloning and tracking device similar to Photoshop or Combustion particularly for last minute correctiuons using After Effects layer?

Hi Nick...Cloning can remove glitches or whatever from a master tape. It happenned to me with an ad with after effects layers and footage. We used Photoshop to clone a piece of a layer and remove the unwanted bit. Tracking could provide cloning and repairs without having to do everything one frame at a time.

There's a few plug-ins that do this sort of thing already. Like the motion tracking pin from lyric
