I'm going through and editing something and wanted to mark the changes I was making.

Is there a way to color code this or something -- I want to be able to quickly point them out to another editor.

Thanks,

Mike

why not use markers in the timeline ruler.

PRO- you can add lost of text to them.

CON- once the other editor start making further changes, they will go out of sync.

Or add some text on V2 that says what needs changing. Again - sync will be lost if timeline changes are made without rippling everything.

If you really want a colour code, click on the new clips and choose Modify - Make Independent Clip, then press APPLE-9, go into Logging and choose a Label. That will break your Master-Affiliate relationship, though, since if you don't Make Independent Clip first, every instance of any given clip in the timeline will get colour coded.
