FCP 5 to DVD Studio Pro 4

I am working on OS 10.4.5 , G5 dual 2.3. and my project is 17min. I have checked it and everything is 100% fine to export. However, when I export my short into DVD Studio Pro 4 (Best 90min 2 pass) when the DVD is complete, I see FLASH FRAMES, ITEMS NOT CORRECTED FROM CUT 2 OR CUT 3 (my final movie is cut 5) AND SOME OF MY AUDIO IS OUT OF SYNC.
What am I doing wrong?

Have you first - exported a Quicktime movie from FCP and watched it? That would be my first step. Then run that .mov file through Compressor as Constant Bit Rate with settings of not higher than 6 Mbps and not lower than 4.5 Mbps. Once it gets into DVD SP you need to built the VOB files and the Video_TS folder and try it again in Apple DVD Player. If it still looks good there, you can burning it to a disc.

Generally, you may be failing with too high a Bit Rate for that DVD Player causing all those problems on playout.
