Inverting a black and white clip..

I have a moving matte that is white on black and I need to invert it so that I can use it in FCP...
is there a simple way to do this?

Here's how I was able to do it. Place a clip of black on V3, your moving matte on V2 and a clip of white on V1. Select the black clip and choose Travel Matte - Luma from the Composite mode menu.

then there's the "invert" filter...

but it;s hard to find.

do a search in the effects tab of the browser.
then you'll see "invert" is hidden away in the "Channel" folder
