weird compression

hey guys,


i have some footage shot on DVCpro HD 108060i with a 1280x1080 aspect ration. (current sequence settings)

plays back correct ratio in canvas and playback.

except when i bring into compressor

compressor's preview "squeezes" everything to 4:3 even though is states it has 1280x1080 video. and out puts 4:3

any suggestions on what is causing this

DVCPRO HD is actually 960x720...anamorphic. You need to adjust for that in compressor. There is a letterbox option in compressor...but beyond that I don't know what to adjust. Just know that you are dealing with a 960x720 frame size.
