Text Jump on transition (plus an easy solution for me)

ok, it happened to me!

i know there's been a few discussions lately about it, (tried to find them, but couldn't? Shane was involved in one..)
anyway

it was a very real shift to the right and then back again, right at the start of the fade out
lasting aprox 2 frames.
the effect had been rendered
DV PAL sequence,
3 layers of basic text, all with an identical fade out,
no bg image

it was NOT a monitoring issue.

i removed the transition, and re-applied, and re-rendered,
this time it was clean.

weird,
but happily, solved quite painlessly.
(not too unlike the classic "turn it off and on again"!)
so i'm just passing it on.

Yeah, that's the same in principle as my "Disconnect, reconnect" method. It flushes out the bad render files, data corruptions etc.

Wasn't that on the Duke album by Genesis?
