search not working? macPro and 5.0.4

Hi,

I tried to search for an answer to this, but search does not seem to be working.

I have a brand spanking new Macpro and just realized i didn't upgrade to 5.1. I am doing that as we speak, but is there any way that 5.0.4 will run on this new Macpro? I have not tested it yet, myself. I'm dying to use this new system!!

It will work, just not ver fast. It will have to run under Rosetta.

Interesting, the apple site says it won't run under rosetta, but i believe you. i'll give it a try and let you know. it has to be better than my quicksilver 2002! it's gotten very sloggy lately.

Don't take my word for it. I think I am mistaken.

I do recall people...and Apple...saying that it wouldn't work under Rosetta. But you can always try for yourself.

Won't be the first time I am wrong.

The search is working here - mostly - seems to be a couple of bugs still. It will be a couple of days till this gets resolved.

you're usually right. it's all my own fault for putting off the 5.1 upgrade. I'm paying for it now, in time lost. It's killing me having a MacPro sitting here and not being able to edit on it!

Sorry all. I'm in Kansas City right now. Family got in a car accident and am helping out. All will be OK, but it will be a few days before I can fix problems. Bad timing
